The Story Behind Dose of Eden
Every brand has a story, and behind Dose of Eden is a story of mentorship, opportunity, faith, passion, and determination.
My journey into makeup began when I had the opportunity to learn from Cassandra, a talented makeup artist who introduced me to the foundation of the craft. At the time, we were both working for the same company, and through that experience, I discovered a passion for beauty and makeup that I knew I wanted to pursue.
Eventually, Cassandra left the company and started her own business, which she named Dose of Eden. The name, the vision, and the beginning of the brand were all hers.
Years later, after I left the same company, Cassandra shared some life-changing news with me. She was getting married and had decided to step away from her makeup career. She then gave me an incredible opportunity: she offered me her social media platforms and asked if I would be interested in continuing the Dose of Eden name.
I knew it was an opportunity, but I also understood the responsibility that came with it.
I said yes.
And that yes began a brand-new chapter of my life.
I didn’t simply take over a name. I was given the opportunity to carry forward something meaningful and build upon the foundation Cassandra had created. I wanted to honor where Dose of Eden came from while also allowing it to grow into my own vision.
With hard work, faith, and determination, Dose of Eden began to evolve. What started as a makeup-focused brand gradually grew into a beauty and lifestyle business offering professional makeup services, beauty products, skincare, training, and more.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges, uncertain seasons, sacrifices, and moments when I questioned what was next. But through it all, I continued to believe in the vision and the possibilities ahead.
I will always be grateful to Cassandra for teaching me, encouraging me, and trusting me with the platform she had built. Her decision opened a door that led me into a journey that has become such an important part of my life.
Today, Dose of Eden represents so much more than makeup.
It represents growth.
It represents resilience.
It represents beauty, purpose, ambition, and faith.
And most importantly, it represents what can happen when you have the courage to recognize an opportunity and the determination to turn it into something meaningful.
I am incredibly proud of how far Dose of Eden has come, but I am even more excited about where we’re going.
